Butterscotch Brownies

It's extremely easy to make this Butterscotch Brownies - a big hit with kids and adults alike. So try out this deliciously different recipe for Butterscotch Brownies and serve it to your loved ones - they'll simply love it!
Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Light brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed
  Egg 1
  Flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sifted
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
Mix until blended.
Cool.
Stir in egg.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to butter mixture and blend well.
Stir in vanilla and nuts.
Pour into a greased and floured, 8-inch-square pan.
Bake in a moderate oven (350° F) 20 to 25 minutes.
Cut into squares while warm.
