Chocolate-Cream Cheese Brownies
|Sweet cooking chocolate||1⁄4 Pound|
|Cream cheese||3 Ounce|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Almond extract||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1)On a double boiler, melt chocolate with 1 tablespoon butter and cool.
2)In a bowl, beat remaining butter and cream cheese and slowly add 1/4 cup sugar.
3)Add 1 egg, 1 tablespoon flour and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla. Mix well.
4)In another bowl, beat remaining eggs until thick and add remaining sugar, 1/2 cup flour, salt and baking powder.
5)Add chocolate, nuts, remaining vanilla and almond extract.
6)Keep aside 1 cup batter.
7)Take a greased 9-inch square pan and pour the remaining batter.
8)Top with cream cheese mixture. Spread reserved batter onto cheese mixture and marble it.
9)Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
10)Cool and cut. Store them in refrigerator.
11)Serve the chocolate cream cheese brownies when desired.
