Wheat And Milk Free Brownies

Ingredients
  Margarine 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), softened to room temperature
  Firmly packed light brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2 , lightly beaten
  Semisweet chocolate/2 semisweet chocolate squares, 1 ounce each, melted 2 Ounce (2 Envelopes, 1 Ounce Each, No -Melt)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Rice flour 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs) (Unsifted)
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Coarsely chopped pecans/Coarsely chopped walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Preheat oven to 350° F.
With a spoon, mix margarine and sugar well; add all remaining ingredients except nuts and blend until smooth.
Stir in nuts and pour into a greased 8"X8"X2" or 9"X9"X2" pan.
Bake 30 minutes or until sides shrink slightly from pan and top springs back when touched.
Cool upright in pan on a wire rack, then cut into squares.
