Wheat And Milk Free Brownies
|Margarine||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), softened to room temperature|
|Firmly packed light brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , lightly beaten|
|Semisweet chocolate/2 semisweet chocolate squares, 1 ounce each, melted||2 Ounce (2 Envelopes, 1 Ounce Each, No -Melt)|
|Rice flour||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs) (Unsifted)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Coarsely chopped pecans/Coarsely chopped walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 350° F.
With a spoon, mix margarine and sugar well; add all remaining ingredients except nuts and blend until smooth.
Stir in nuts and pour into a greased 8"X8"X2" or 9"X9"X2" pan.
Bake 30 minutes or until sides shrink slightly from pan and top springs back when touched.
Cool upright in pan on a wire rack, then cut into squares.
