Chunky Chocolate Brownies
|Butter||4 Ounce, softened (1 Stick)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Unsweetened chocolate square||3 Ounce, melted (Three 1 Ounce Each Pieces)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Semi sweet chocolate chunks||6 Ounce (1 Cup)|
|Chopped pecans||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch square pan.
2. In a medium bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, melted chocolate, and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour and salt and beat on low speed just until batter is smooth, scraping side of bowl frequently with a rubber spatula. Fold in chocolate chunks and nuts. Turn batter into prepared pan, leveling surface.
3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until top is shiny and dry and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove pan to a rack, cut into 16 squares, and let cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
