Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies
|Unsweetened chocolate square||2 Ounce (1 Ounce Per Square)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Whole wheat flour/All-purpose / unbleached||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Chopped peanuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Peanut butter||2 Tablespoon|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Heat oven to 350°.
Grease square pan, 8x8x2 inches.
Heat chocolate and shortening in 2-quart saucepan over low heat until melted; remove from heat.
Mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Spread in pan.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan; cool.
Cut into 1-inch squares.
