Peanut Butter Brownies
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Peanut butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Smooth / Chunky)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Firmly packed dark brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Almond extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix peanut butter and butter.
Gradually add sugars, beating until fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time, then add almond extract.
Stir in flour mixture until thoroughly mixed.
Turn into a greased 9-inch square pan.
Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake springs back when touched lightly.
