|Oleo/Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Pound (2 1/4 Cup)|
|Flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs), sifted|
|Baking powder||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Semi sweet chocolate morsels||12 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Chopped walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Melt shortening in a large (6 quart) saucepan.
Add brown sugar.
Remove from heat and cool 10 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add dry ingredients.
Add vanilla; mix well.
Add chocolate chips and walnuts; mix well.
Spread in greased pan (15" x 10" jelly roll pan) and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool and cut into squares.
