Saucepan Fudge Brownies
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chocolate square||2 Ounce (unsweetened)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced|
In saucepan melt butter or margarine and chocolate.
Remove from heat; stir in sugar.
Blend in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in flour; mix well.
Spread batter in a greased 8x8x2-inch baking pan.
Sprinkle with almonds.
Bake at 350° till wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes.
Cool; cut into bars.
