Ingredients
  Unsweetened chocolate square 2 Ounce (Two 1 Ounce Each)
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Vegetable oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Grand marnier liqueur/Other orange-flavored liqueur 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chocolate flavored syrup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), flavored
  Eggs 4 , beaten
  Unsweetened cocoa 3 Tablespoon
  Grated orange peel 2 Teaspoon
  Orange juice 1 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Semi sweet chocolate chips 12 Ounce, divided (1 Package)
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon
  Orange peel strips 4 (Garnish)
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
Melt unsweetened chocolate in top of double boiler over hot, not boiling, water.
Remove from heat and mix in sugar, oil, liqueur, syrup, eggs, cocoa, orange peel and juice.
Stir in flour, baking powder and 1 1/3 cups of the chocolate chips.
Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.
Bake 22 minutes; do not overbake.
As soon as brownies are removed from oven, melt remaining 2/3 cup chocolate chips and shortening in top of double boiler over hot, not boiling water; stir until smooth.
Spread hot chocolate mixture over warm brownies.
Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
Cut into 2-inch squares.
Garnish with orange peel strips if desired.
