Peanut Butter Paisley Brownies

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
  Peanut butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Packed light brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 3
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Unsifted all purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Canned syrup 5 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can Or 1/2 Cup)
Directions

Blend butter and peanut butter in large mixer bowl.
Add sugar and brown sugar; beat well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Blend in vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to peanut butter mixture.
Spread half the batter in greased 13x9-inch pan.
Spoon syrup over top.
Carefully spread with remaining batter.
Swirl with spatula or knife for marbled effect.
Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool; cut into squares.
