Two Layer Brownies

Two Layer Brownies has a Different taste. The vanilla and nuts gives the Two Layer Brownies Sizzling taste.
Ingredients
  Vegetable shortening 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sifted
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chopped nuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Chocolate square 1 1⁄2 , melted
Directions

In bowl, cream vegetable shortening, sugar, and eggs.
Sift together dry ingredients; stir into creamed mixture.
Add nuts and vanilla.
Divide batter in half.
Add chocolate to one half and spread in greased 8x8x2 inch square baking pan.
Spread the remaining light batter over dark.
Bake at 375° for 20 minutes or until done.
