Vitamin Broth

Ingredients
  Boiled barley 1⁄3 Pint
  Yeast extract 2 Teaspoon
  Chopped french beans 3 Tablespoon
  Chopped carrot 3 Tablespoon
  Chopped cabbage 3 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Heat the butter in a vessel and fry the onions for a little time.
Add the chopped vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
Add 7 teacups of water and the barley, marmite and salt.
Boil for 10 minutes. Add pepper and serve hot.
