Ingredients
  Garlic 16 Clove (80 gm), peeled and chopped
  Water/Vegetable cooking liquid 2 Quart
  Whole cloves 2
  Bay leaf 1⁄2
  Minced parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Leaf sage/1/4 teaspoon dried sage 1
  Thyme/1/4 teaspoon dried thyme 12 Teaspoon
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
  Salt To Taste
  Grated swiss cheese/Parmesan / romano cheese 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Whole wheat bread slices 8 , toasted until dry (Rounds, Adjust Quantity As Needed)
Directions

Place garlic, water, and next 5 ingredients into a large soup kettle; bring to a boil.
Cover, lower heat, and let simmer for 30 minutes or until garlic is tender.
Add pepper and salt to taste.
Serve hot, garnished with grated cheese, or use this broth as the basis for other soups.
