Chicken Broth

Ingredients
  Chicken pieces 4 Pound
  Water 2 Quart
  Onion 1 , quartered
  Celery stalks 2
  Bay leaf 1
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dried parsley flakes 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dried thyme 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dried marjoram 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine all ingredients in a large Dutch oven.
Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 1 hour.
Strain broth, reserving chicken and vegetables for other uses.
Chill broth; remove fat from surface
