Elegant Cheesy Broccoli
|Broccoli||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Skim milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Reduced-fat havarti cheese||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Ttim off large leaves of broccoli, and remove tough ends of lower stalks.
Cut broccoli into speats.
Steam broccoli, covered, 10 minutes or until ctisp tender.
Arrange broccoli on a serving dish; set aside, and keep warm.
Combine cornstarch and paprika in a saucepan; gradually add milk, stirring constantly with a whisk until blended.
Place over medium heat; cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Add cheese; cook until cheese melts, stirring constantly.
Pour over broccoli.
