Curried Broccoli And Carrots

Ingredients
  Onions 2 Medium, sliced
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Turmeric 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Coriander 1 Teaspoon
  Cumin 1 Teaspoon
  Carrots 1⁄2 Pound
  Broccoli 1 Pound
  Chili powder/Crushed dried chili peppers 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

In a large skillet, saute onions and garlic in oil a few minutes.
Stir in turmeric, coriander, and cumin.
Then add carrots, cover pan, lower heat, and steam 5 minutes.
Add broccoli, then chili powder, and finally add the water.
Cover pan again and cook over low heat another 10 minutes, or until vegetables are tender but still firm.
