Pork And Broccoli

I made this Pork and Broccoli dish last weekend when I had come unexpected guest-visit; believe me, it was dead simple and was a great hit too. In fact, the blend of Pork and Broccoli is a delightful combination, which is sure to make a bland meal go ravishing!
  Frozen broccoli 3⁄4 Pound
  Lean pork 3⁄4 Pound
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Brown sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Sherry 1 Tablespoon
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Canned crab meat 7 Ounce
  Stock/Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon

Defrost the broccoli and cut it into 1 inch lengths.
Cut the meat into fine shreds.
Add the garlic, salt, sugar, soy sauce and sherry to the meat, mix well and leave for 10| minutes.
Heat the oil and fry the meat for 10 minutes over gentle heat, add the broccoli and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Drain the crab and add to the pan, mix well.
Mix the cornflour (cornstarch) to a smooth paste with a little of the stock or water, then add the rest of the stock; and add to the pan; bring to the boil, stirring until thickened.
