Pork And Broccoli
|Frozen broccoli||3⁄4 Pound|
|Lean pork||3⁄4 Pound|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Brown sugar||1 Teaspoon|
|Soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Canned crab meat||7 Ounce|
|Stock/Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Defrost the broccoli and cut it into 1 inch lengths.
Cut the meat into fine shreds.
Add the garlic, salt, sugar, soy sauce and sherry to the meat, mix well and leave for 10| minutes.
Heat the oil and fry the meat for 10 minutes over gentle heat, add the broccoli and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Drain the crab and add to the pan, mix well.
Mix the cornflour (cornstarch) to a smooth paste with a little of the stock or water, then add the rest of the stock; and add to the pan; bring to the boil, stirring until thickened.
