Glazed Broccoli With Almonds
|All-purpose flour||4 Tablespoon|
|Cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Monosodium glutamate||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), grated|
|Almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Slivered And Toasted)|
1)Trim and separate broccoli.
2)Cook it in boiling salted water until just tender. Drain.
3)Take a shallow 8 x 12-inch casserole and put the broccoli in it.
4)In a small bowl, dissolve bouillon cube in 3/4 cup hot water.
5)In a pan, melt butter and add flour.
6)Add cream and bouillon mixture.
7)Cook the mixture until smooth and thick. Keep stirring.
8)Add sherry, lemon juice, pepper and monosodium glutamate.
9)Pour sauce on broccoli and sprinkle cheese and almonds.
10)Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until heated through.
11)Serve glazed broccoli with almonds immediately.
