Beef 'N' Broccoli Stir Fry
|Peanut oil/Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Broccoli florets||2 Cup (32 tbs), blanched|
|Carrots||1 Cup (16 tbs), blanched, diagonally thinly sliced|
|Onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Thin Wedges)|
|Sirloin steak||6 Ounce, cut into thin strips (Broiled Boneless)|
|Light rose wine||3 1⁄2 Teaspoon (1 Tablespoon + 1/2 Teaspoons)|
|Reduced-sodium soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Granulated sugar||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1) In a 10-inch skillet or wok, stir fry the broccoli, carrots and onion in the heated oil, stirring frequently until the vegetables are just tender and the onions are browned.
2) Stir in the beef strips.
3) In small bowl, stir rest of the ingredients together, until the cornstarch is dissolved.
4) Stir into the beef mixture, stir constantly and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce is thickened.
5) Serve immediately on individual serving plates.
