Sesame Lemon Broccoli
|Broccoli/10 ounce package frozen broccol spears||1 Pound, cut in spears|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Cooking oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Dried basil||1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Dry mustard||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Lemon pepper seasoning||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Sesame seed||2 Teaspoon|
Cook fresh broccoli, covered, in boiling water for 10 to 12 minutes or till tender.
(Or, if using frozen broccoli, cook spears according to package directions.) Drain well.
Meanwhile, in a screw-top jar combine lemon juice, cooking oil, basil, mustard, and lemon-pepper seasoning.
Cover and shake well to mix.
Heat a small skillet over medium heat.
Add sesame seed to skillet.
Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or till toasted.
Shake lemon mixture again just before serving.
Drizzle over broccoli and toss gently.
Sprinkle with toasted sesame seed.
