Macaroni With Broccoli And Almonds
|Macaroni||14 Ounce (3 1/2 Cups, 400 Gram)|
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter||2 Ounce (4 Tablespoon, 50 Gram)|
|Broccoli florets||8 Ounce (3 Cups / 225 Gram)|
|Toasted slivered almonds||2 Ounce (1/3 Cup, 50 Gram, Flaked)|
|Grated pecorino cheese||60 Milliliter (4 Tablespoon)|
Put the macaroni in a deep pot and pour over enough boiling water to cover. Add a few drops of oil and a pinch of salt, cover and cook for 9 minutes. Allow to stand.
Put half the butter in a dish and cook for 1 minute. Add the broccoli and almonds and cook for 6 minutes, stirring twice, until the broccoli is tender, but still crisp.
Drain the pasta, add the rest of the butter and the broccoli and almonds, toss and sprinkle with grated cheese before serving.
