Trim the thick stems from the broccoli and steam the heads until tender.
Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the bread crumbs and fry until crisp.
Sprinkle in the salt and pepper and stir.
Place the cooked broccoli in a warm serving dish, pour the lemon juice over, then sprinkle with the breadcrumb mixture and serve immediately.
