Stir Fried Broccoli
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Rice wine/Dry sherry||1 Teaspoon|
|Chicken broth||3 Tablespoon|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Rinse broccoli with cold water.
Cut into 2-inch flowerets and slice stems 1/4 inch thick.
Heat oil in a wok over high heat 30 seconds.
Stir-fry garlic until golden, 30 seconds.
Add broccoli stems and salt.
Stir-fry 30 seconds.
Stir-fry 1 minute.
Add wine, sugar, chicken broth and water.
Reduce heat to medium-low and continue to stir-fry until water is almost gone.
