Sunday Dinner Broccoli has a different taste. Sunday Dinner Broccoli gets its taste from broccoli mixed with baking soda and garnished with pepper or salt. Sunday Dinner Broccoli is cherished by many all over the world.
Ingredients
  Broccoli 2 Bunch (200 gm)
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Since the stalks of broccoli are less tender than the flowers, they should be cooked longer.
A simple method is to wash the broccoli thoroughly, then tie the stalks together with white string and stand the broccoli upright in a deep pot.
Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and water two thirds of the way up the stalks.
Let the water come to a full boil, then pour the water off and add 1 cup fresh water.
Cover and steam for 15 minutes, or until the stalks are tender.
The soda will impart a fresh green look to the broccoli.
Salt and pepper to taste.
