Cheesy Broccoli Stratas
|Herb seasoned croutons||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Shredded process american cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Frozen chopped broccoli||10 Ounce, cooked, drained|
|Chopped pimento||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped green onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Bottled tartar sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Eggs||2 , slightly beaten|
|Evaporated milk||5 1⁄3 Ounce|
1. Butter 2 (2-cup) casseroles. Divide 3/4 cup croutons between casseroles. Top each casserole with 1/4 cup cheese.
2. In a medium bowl, combine broccoli, pimento and green onion. Fold in tartar sauce and lemon juice. Divide broccoli mixture between casseroles. Top with remaining croutons and cheese.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together eggs and evaporated milk; pour over croutons. Cover each casserole with plastic wrap. Refrigerate 2 to 24 hours.
4. To serve, cover with vented plastic wrap. Microwave at 50% (medium) 15 to 20 minutes or until set; give dishes a quarter turn every 5 minutes. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
