Salted Brisket Of Beef

Ingredients
  Beef pieces 4 Pound, pounded
  Onions 4 Small
  Carrots 4 Small
  Beef stock cube 1
  Pepper 1 1⁄2 Pinch (Good Pinch)
  Dry mustard 1 Pinch
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Soak the beef in cold water for a couple of hours or overnight depending upon its salt content.
MAKING 2) Take a large saucepan, and add beef and all the ingredients. Cover it half with cold water.
3) Bring to a boil and remove scum from top. Cover it and cook on low heat, allowing 30 minutes for each pound.
4) Do not thicken the brisket.

SERVING
5) Serve the beef brisket, serve liquid in separate bowl and meat in separate dish and pour some liquid and vegetables around it.

TIPS
You can cook dumplings with this, allowing them about 15 minutes' quick cooking in the liquid.
