|Self rising flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Shortening||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Buttermilk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Sift dry ingredients; add shortening and milk.
Dough will be stiff.
Roll out onto floured board to 1/2 inch thickness.
Cut into slices 1 inch wide and 2 inches long.
Deep fry at 375 degrees until brown, turning only once.
