In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Thin and Crispy Pizza Dough Breadsticks. These breadsticks are delicious with Betty's Versatile Pizza Sauce, which was recently uploaded in bettyskitchen.
All purpose flour | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
Milk | 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs) | |
Vegetable oil | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Olive oil | 1 Teaspoon ((as needed)) |
GETTING READY
1. Line a 10-inch by 15-inch by 1-inch baking pan with parchment paper and grease it with olive oil.
2. Preheat oven to 425 degree F.
MAKING
3. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, milk, and vegetable oil. Stir vigorously until mixture leaves sides of bowl.
4. Gather dough together and press into ball. Knead for about 10 times or until smooth and divide dough into 2 equal parts.
5. On a lightly floured surface roll one ball into a rectangle about 1/8-inch thick and cut into strips approximately 4 inches by 1 inch.
6. Place all strips on prepared pan and brush tops with olive oil. Use a fork to pierce each of the strips about an inch apart.
7. Pop in oven and bake for about 8 minutes or until breadsticks begin to brown.
8. Remove from oven and immediately transfer them to cooling rack.
SERVING
9. Serve breadsticks with Betty’s versatile Pizza sauce and enjoy!
