Ingredients
Whole wheat flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄2
  Dry yeast 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
Warm water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vegetable oil 1 Tablespoon
Sesame seeds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Combine flour; combine 1 1/2 cups flour mixture, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
Add water and oil; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer 3 to 4 minutes or until smooth.
Stir in enough remaining flour mixture to make stiff dough; turn out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead 4 to 5 times or until smooth and elastic.
Divide dough into fourths; shape each fourth into a ball.
Cut each ball into ten pieces.
Shape each piece into an 8-inch rope.
(Cover remaining dough while working to prevent drying.) Roll ropes in sesame seeds.
Place ropes 2 inches apart on baking sheets coated with cooking spray.
Cover and let rise in a Warm place (85°), free from drafts, for 50 minutes.
(Dough will not double in bulk.) Bake at 400° for 10 to 13 minutes of until lightly browned.
