Method of making quick bread
Quick bread contains mainly five ingredients: bread flour, butter, eggs, milk or any other liquid and baking soda. Any other ingredient can be added for flavor and taste. Mixing methods of quick breads also differs from yeast bread. Three mixing methods that are commonly applied are muffin method, biscuit method and creaming method. These methods allow raising the flour with the chemical leavener like baking soda. Cakes, muffins, biscuits, banana bread and beer bread comes in the category of quick bread.
Quick bread pudding, quick applesauce bread, quick anadama bread and oatmeal quick bread are some quick recipe variations of the original.
