Orange Bread

Orange bread, soft sweet tangy and fruity bread, consists of grated orange peels and orange juice as the dominant elements. A nutritious desert treat, the orange bread is prepared from flour, sugar, salt, eggs, shortening, milk, orange juice, grated orange peels, and walnuts or pecans. All ingredients are blended into a smooth mixture and baked in a greased loaf pan at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. Orange bread makes a hit combination with sweet fruity sauces or jams.
