Bread Stuffing

  Dry bread loaf 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Melted fat 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Minced onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (More If Desired)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Poultry seasoning 2 Tablespoon

Scoop out insides of bread to make bread crumbs.
Toss all ingredients together lightly in a bowl, using enough melted, fat to moisten taste. Less fat need be used for fatty fowl.
Stuffing can be cooked in the poultry or it may be baked or steamed in a loaf or ring mold.and served with vegetables.
This recipe will stuff a 6-lb bird
