Savory Garlic Bread
|French bread loaf||1|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Italian seasoning||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Grated parmesan cheese/Toasted sesame seeds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Cut loaf in half crosswise.
Cut half loaves into 1/2 inch slices, leaving bottom intact.
Place butter, Italian seasoning and garlic powder in a glass custard cup.
Microwave 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds or until melted.
Brush mixture on bread.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Wrap each half loaf in wax paper.
Microwave half loaf for 30 to 45 seconds [MEDIUM HIGH-9, 45 seconds to 1 minute] or until bread feels warm.
Repeat with remaining half.
