Garlic Cheese Bread
|French bread loaf/Italian bread loaf||1|
|Butter/Margarine||1 , softened|
|Garlic powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Shredded mozzarella cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Parmesan cheese||1 Tablespoon|
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Cut the bread loaf in half lengthwise.
Spread butter evenly over the cut sides.
Sprinkle the buttered side of each slice with garlic powder, parsley and oregano.
Layer the mozzarella cheese over the herbed layer of one of the slices.
Spread additional butter on top of the loaf and sprinkle with additional cheese.
Bake for 5 to 10 minutes or until heated through, cheeses are melted and bread is lightly browned on top.
