Best Banana Bread
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Bananas||3 Large, mashed|
|Lemon juice||1 Teaspoon|
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Tablespoon|
Cream the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in the bananas and lemon juice.
Add a mixture of the flour, baking powder and salt, stirring just until moistened.
Spoon into a greased loaf pan.
Bake for 1 hour or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
