Grandma's Nut Bread

Ingredients
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Whole milk 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped walnuts/Chopped pecans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped dates 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Mix the egg, sugar and milk in a large bowl.
Add a mixture of the flour, baking powder and salt and stir until moistened.
Fold in the walnuts and dates.
Spoon the batter into a greased 5x9 inch loaf pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
