Grape Nut Bread
|Grape nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Buttermilk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Flour||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
Soak grape nuts in buttermilk for 10 minutes.
Cream sugar and eggs.
Add milk and grape nuts mixture.
Sift dry ingredients and add to above mixture.
Pour into 2 loaf pans, greased and floured.Sprinkle grapenut over loaf.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean when stuck into center of loaf.
