|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Salad dressing/Mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Snipped chives/Parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Bread slice||10 , cut 1/2 inch thick (French or Italian)|
In a small mixing bowl combine Parmesan cheese and salad dressing or mayonnaise.
Stir in snipped chives or parsley, if desired.
Place French or Italian bread slices on the rack of an unheated broiler pan.
Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat about 1 minute or till toasted.
Turn bread over.
Spread some of the salad dressing or mayonnaise mixture on the untoasted side of each slice of bread.
Broil, salad dressing side up, 3 to 4 inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes or till light brown.
