Plain Brown Bread
|Whole wheat flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Soda||1 2⁄3 Teaspoon|
|White flour||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Cream of tartar||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sour milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Combine dry ingredients; stir in milk.
Turn into oiled bread pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.
NOTE: Sweet milk with 2 tablespoons vinegar added may be used for sour milk.
