  Brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), Cut into 6 pieces
  Eggs 2
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Apples 2 Large, cut into pieces
  Raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

Place sugar, butter, eggs, spices, and salt in the processor bowl.
Process with the metal blade until light, about 15 seconds.
Add ap ples and process until finely chopped.
Add raisins; process 2 seconds.Stir together the flour, soda, and baking powder Add to the processor bowl.
Turn blade on and off quickly 4 or 5 times, until , flour is blended in.
Do not overprocess.
Pour into a 9 X 5 inch loaf pan and bake at 350°F for 55 to 60 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack.
If you like nuts, 1/2 cup walnuts may be added with the flour.
