Onion-Cheese Supper Bread
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Biscuit mix||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Shredded sharp cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|American cheese||1 Tablespoon|
|Snipped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Melted butter||2 Tablespoon|
Cook onion in small amount hot fat till tender but not brown.
Combine egg and milk; add to biscuit mix; stir only till mix is just moistened.
Add onion, half the cheese, and parsley.
Spread dough in greased 8x1 1/2 inch round cake pan.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Drizzle melted butter over.
Bake at 400Â° 20 minutes or till toothpick comes out clean.
