Barley Griddle Bread

Ingredients
  Barley flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Baking soda 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cream of tartar 1 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), softened (or margarine)
  Buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Combine the dry ingredients in the Bosch bowl equipped with wire whips.
Add butter or margarine, and cut in until mixture resembles cornmeal.
Add sufficient buttermilk to make a soft dough.
Turn out onto a lightly floured surface.
Roll dough to lightly coat with flour.
Dip fingertips in flour and press out dough to a large circle 1/2 inch in thickness.
Cut into 1 inch circles, and bake on a 375° F.greased griddle.
Turn once.
Serve hot.
