Ingredients
  Bran 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Whole wheat flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Egg 1
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Sour milk 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
Directions

Mix like Nut Bread and bake in a moderate oven of 375°F. for 1 hr.
Method II.
Beat egg, add sugar and sour milk, then mix in well the sifted dry ingredients.
Pour into greased loaf pan and let stand 1/2 hr.
Bake in moderate oven of 375°F. for 1 hr.
Sweet milk and twice the amount of baking powder may be substituted for sour milk and soda.
