Toasted Bread with Herbs
|Olive oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Day-old italian bread||5 Cup (80 tbs) (Cut Into 2-Inch Squares)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Dried oregano||3 Teaspoon|
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic and oregano.
Put bread squares in a large bowl, drizzle oil mixture over bread squares, then toss to coat each piece.
Place bread squares on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated 375-degree oven 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool before serving with your favorite dips or spreads.
This amount of toasted bread is enough for about 3 cups of dip.
