Sage Dinner Bread
|Prepared biscuit mix||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Ground sage||1 Teaspoon|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|Grated onion||2 Teaspoon|
|Egg||1 , slightly beaten|
Combine biscuit m x and sage in medium bowl; cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
Add milk and onion.
Divide dough into 18 parts; roll each part into 12-inch long rope.
Braid 3 ropes together, pinching at ends to hold in place to make 6 braids.
Place 3 braids, side by side, on cookie sheet, shaping ends in oval.
Top with 2 more braids for middle layer; place remaining braid on top.
Brush with egg.
Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until golden.
