|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Teaspoon|
|Soda||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Strawberry preserves||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Red food coloring||1 Tablespoon|
Blend butter, sugar, vanilla, salt and juice; beat in eggs, one at a time.
Dissolve soda in sour cream; add to egg mixture.
Fold in flour, nuts, preserves and food coloring.
Pour batter into 2 large or 4 small greased loaf pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until bread pulls away from pans.
