|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||4 Teaspoon|
|Walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Milk||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Shortening||4 Tablespoon, melted|
Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into mixing bowl.
Combine egg, milk and shortening.
Make well in dry ingredients, and add egg mixture.
Stir quickly until flour is absorbed.
Scrape into greased 9" x 5" x 3" loaf pan, and bake 50Ã¢â‚¬â€60 minutes at 350Ã‚Â°F.
Makes 1 loaf.
