Sour Cream-Prune Bread
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped cooked prunes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sifted flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Whole wheat flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Prune juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Melted butter||2 Tablespoon|
Mix sour cream and prunes.
Sift flour, salt, baking powder, soda and sugar together; stir into sour cream mixture.
Add whole wheat flour; mix well.
Add prune juice, egg and butter; mix well.
Pour into 2 greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans.
Bake in 350-degree oven for 50 minutes.
