Christmas Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients
  Vegetable oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Canned pumpkin 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sifted flour 1 2⁄3 Cup (26.67 tbs)
  Sugar 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Candied cherries 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), cut up
  Chopped nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Combine oil, eggs, 1/3 cup water and pumpkin in large bowl.
Sift flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt together.
Beat into pumpkin mix- ture gradually.
Stir in cherries and nuts.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan Bake in 350-degree oven for 1 hour or until loaf tests done.
