Grilled Bacon Corn Bread

MAKING
1) In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and corn meal
2) Then mix in the brown sugar, cane sugar and a pinch of salt along with the flour mixture and keep aside
3) In another bowl, break the eggs and add to it the molasses and milk
4) Whisk the mixture really well
5) Into the milk mixture add the flour mixture little by little and mix really well
6) The consistency should be that of a pancake batter
7) In a cast iron pan, fry the bacon
8) Once they are fried, transfer them onto absorbent kitchen paper
9) In the same pan, add 2 tablespoons of butter to the bacon
10) Roughly chop up the fried bacon
11) Pour the batter into the pan
12) Sprinkle in the fried bacon on top
13) Cover the grill with the lid and cook for about 30 minutes till set
14) Do a skewer test for the corn bread and take it off the heat
15) Allow to rest for about 30 minutes before slicing it up

SERVING
16) Serve the corn bread with eggs
